James Kuo

James Kuo is a Peabody award-winning writer, comedian and photographer who doesn't use the Oxford comma. He moved from California to NYC in 2010 to pursue his parents’ lifelong dream of having him not live in their basement. James won a Peabody Award for his time as a digital writer at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which means he watched a lot of news, wrote a lot of jokes and produced a lot of comedy content…digitally. Now James works as a creative director at MOD, with clients like CVS Health, Aetna, Comcast and Xfinity.

In his extra time, he enjoys hanging out with his dog Suzy, taking photos, improvising at Magnet Theater (pre-pandemic) and developing an animated series with his writing team.

In his extra extra time, James plays soccer, supports Tottenham Hotspur, and occasionally uses the Oxford comma.
